Yes, all this and much more happened at the recently held Karbonn Mobiles 17th Annual Star Screen Awards.
The star- studded had quite a lot to talk about - right from the high celeb quotient to winners and performers, but a few things that are worth a mention are as follows:
Why Ranvir cried: Bread pakode ki kasam, Delhi boy Ranvir Singh was as good a host of the show as he was in his debut vehicle Band Baaja Baarat. But that was not why he cried. Apparently, they were khushi ke aansu that rolled down Ranvir's cheeks when he was awarded the best new comer award.
He said, "I had always wanted to become an actor and today, receiving the award & sharing the stage with SRK & Shahid in front of the entire industry is really surreal."
Soon our witty SRK jumped in with a jibe at the oldies in the industry saying, "Arrey tu kyun ro raha hain? Rona toh humein chaiye, ab hamara kya hoga? (Why are you crying? We should cry, what will happen to us now?)
Priyanka Chopra in love: Looks like not with one but two people! True, Priyanka Chopra introduced Shah Rukh Khan and Shahid Kapur for their act. Priyanka openly announced her love for the two of them by saying, "Yeh woh do log hain, jinme se ek ne mujhe pyar karna sikhaya aur dosre ko dekhte hi pyar ho jata hain (SRK taught her how to fall in love and Shahid makes anyone fall in love at first sight)."
Shahrukh, hearing this, told Shahid, "I am unhappy with the fact that I make women fall in love and you with your charm take them away." All this didn't involve any bad intentions, but PC actually meant what she said. Even before she entered Bollywood, she was a die-hard Shahrukh fan and as far as Shahid and her relationship is concerned, its all guess work.
SRK angry with Sasha: We also heard that SRK was upset with Shahid Kapoor for the latter didn't rehearse his lines for hosting the show. This didn't go well with SRK and he didn't give Shahid much time to speak and did most of the talking himself.

Apart from this, the other highlights of the night were Aishwarya Rai Bachhan and Priyanka Chopra's performances, Vidya Balan's another Kanjeevaram appearance, SRK grooving to tere mast mast do nain with Dabangg beauty Sonakshi Sinha, Katrina Kaif's red hot gown to name a few.
